Somatic Winterflow Retreat with Annet Münzinger
In the same way, we draw inspiration from its vibrant, outwardly effervescent nature. This retreat is an exploration of this ever-changing, unconventional medium. Through revitalizing fascial movement sequences, melting stretches , and gentle release techniques , we dissolve adhesions and stagnation in the tissue and bring the body into a state of vibrant flow.
Harmonizing breath sequences, healing sound explorations, and meditations have a soothing effect on the autonomic nervous system, strengthening somatic resilience and emotional well-being. Gradually, a sense of openness, flexibility, and vitality sets in. Health emerges in the sense of a holistic unity of body, heart, and soul: flowing into every cell of the body and intimately connected with the world.
Annet Münzinger
“I have been a yoga and meditation teacher and a certified Rolfer (manual fascial therapy) for 26 years. In my teaching, I consciously seek to alternate between structure and stillness on one hand, and pulsation and bouncing on the other, to address the body holistically and at the fascial level. The movements are natural and have a relaxing effect on the nervous system.
For me, it’s less about perfecting a form and more about savoring one’s own range of motion and, in doing so, expanding self-awareness. My teaching is clear, well-grounded, playful, and sensitive. Drawing on a very long practice of movement, I have developed an exploratory form of fascia yoga enriched by elements from the Feldenkrais Method and somatic bodywork.
I do not wish to impose dogma on my students, but rather to instill in them a sense of freedom and joy in their own movement. Another of my passions is meditation. It is a matter close to my heart and an indispensable part of my personal practice, my workshops, and my retreats. The body that has been moved, felt, and made conscious through yoga naturally longs for it. I offer active and seated meditations. I also have a keen interest in neuroscience to understand how meditation affects the body, soul, and mind.
