What exactly is Bioland all about?
Bioland is the largest organic farming association in Germany in terms of membership. Bioland accepts only farms from Germany and South Tyrol, making it the most regionally focused of the major organic associations. Over 8,700 organic farms—including those in agriculture, beekeeping, and viticulture—as well as 1,400 partner businesses in processing, retail, and the food service industry belong to this community of shared values, which operates according to strict guidelines. Bioland’s guidelines go beyond the legally required criteria for the EU organic label. Bioland stands for transparent traceability of raw materials and food products, as well as regional supply chains.

The association’s goal: to make organic accessible to everyone and to protect our natural resources through responsible agriculture and food production.

Appreciation for food and regional organic suppliers is part of the philosophy. As a Bioland partner, we stand for artisanal tradition and high-quality, gentle processing. So that the best ingredients are transformed into valuable food products.

HUBERTUS has been awarded the Bronze Seal of Quality. This means that nearly 60% of our culinary ingredients come from regional, organic farms.
