Senior herdsman Friedl Vögel has been managing the Spicherhalde Alpine pasture every summer for over 70 years, together with his wife. In recent years, however, more and more people have been joining them on the pasture. Now, three generations—a total of nine people—spend several months there each summer. And each person has their own role.
We’re proud to receive 10–15 wheels of this coveted, award-winning mountain cheese every year. In fact, it’s now even being shipped as far as America.
