The Balderschwang Valley, often referred to as “Bavarian Siberia,” is considered one of the ski regions in Germany with the most reliable snow conditions. The Balderschwang ski area features more than 40 kilometers of superbly groomed slopes and 12 lifts suitable for all skill levels.

You can choose from alpine runs of all difficulty levels, practice slopes, deep-snow runs, and ski tours.
The fog-free location offers unobstructed views of the impressive mountain landscape while skiing, with fantastic snow conditions and plenty of sunshine.

Perfect slope maintenance is guaranteed. The ski resorts are well-equipped with modern snow groomers and—if necessary—snow cannons. Numerous ski huts and an après-ski bar invite you to take a cozy break. And reasonable ski pass prices top off the package.

All of this makes the Balderschwanger Valley an exceptionally charming ski destination—far away from the hustle and bustle of the large neighboring ski resorts.

Just a few kilometers away, other attractive ski resorts are open in the Oberallgäu region. One highlight is certainly the Grasgehren Ski Paradise at the nearby Riedberg Pass, which even combines two smaller ski resorts.

The unique location of the ski resorts in the heart of the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park fosters a sense of community and offers a wide variety of sporting activities.

The Nebelhorn ski resort is more versatile than any other in the Allgäu: Naturally blessed with plenty of snow and equipped with a state-of-the-art snowmaking system, it offers the true“

In winter, the “Hochalpine” impresses not only with its panoramic views of over 400 peaks but also with its athletic appeal: one of Germany’s longest and most spectacular runs awaits visitors over 7.5 kilometers.

But even less experienced winter sports enthusiasts will find a variety of blue and red runs among the 13 kilometers of slopes in total.

It’s not just the high-alpine skiing experience that’s spectacular—the ride to the Höfatsblick mountain station at just under 2,000 meters is an adventure in itself. The modern 10-person gondola takes every guest to the mountain station in individual seats offering panoramic views and maximum comfort.

The view from the Nordwandsteig at the summit station is equally breathtaking. The view stretches 600 meters down along the north face of the Nebelhorn.

In the cross-border ski resort and Germany’s largest ski arena, Fellhorn/Kanzelwand, more than 36 km of superbly groomed runs await, along with the action-packed Crystal Family area for ski fans of all ages.

The 5.7 km-long valley run in winter isn’t just a grand finale to a day of skiing and snowboarding. Especially in the morning, this run invites you to enjoy some particularly extended skiing fun. And between the mountain station and the Höfle station runs a blue family run that’s perfect for a dynamic start to the two-country ski experience.

At 1,750 meters above sea level, thrill-seekers will find the entrance to the Crystal Slope, an 840-long fun run over moguls, through tunnels, and along wave and banked runs. Those looking for even more action will be in good hands at the Crystal Peak Fun Park on the Fellhorn or the Crystal Ground Park on the Kanzelwand, which feature challenging mogul runs, among other attractions.
