Breathing Easy – Breathwork & Regeneration Retreat with Johanna Lehmann
Our breathing affects everything—our energy, our emotions, our sleep, and our immune system. And yet most of us breathe unconsciously and in a dysfunctional way—day after day, without even realizing it. What’s more, different stages of life and the menstrual cycle also have a direct impact on our breathing and our nervous system—often without us recognizing the connection.
Four days immersed in the winter stillness of the Allgäu. No schedule that overwhelms you. No pushing yourself to the limit. Instead, true depth—through the simplest and most powerful resource you always have with you: your breath.
This is your time off. Everything that awaits you is an invitation—nothing is a must.
What is breathwork—and why does it make such a big difference?
You breathe up to 20,000 times a day—mostly without even realizing it. Yet your breath is like an internal remote control: free, always available, and incredibly powerful. Breathwork is like a massage for the mind and soul—and the fast track to deep meditation, even if you’ve never meditated before.
Using special breathing techniques, you can quickly reduce stress, release emotions and blockages, boost your energy, sleep better, and strengthen your immune system. Coaches like Tony Robbins have been working with professional breathwork instructors for years. The effects are scientifically proven: Breathwork activates the nervous system, improves brain function, and can even dissolve deep-seated emotional patterns.
Many participants describe their experiences as emotional release, a newfound zest for life, and profound clarity—or simply as the best high of their lives. It’s completely natural. Get high on your own supply.
The Program
Every day, you’ll have two sessions—an energizing one in the morning and a restorative one in the evening. Each session includes specific exercises, breathing techniques, and everyday tips that you can put into practice right away. The time in between is all yours.
The program is subject to change—the exact schedule will be adjusted in consultation with the group.

About Johanna Lehmann
Johanna Lehmann is a certified yoga teacher (300 hours, Yoga Alliance), a trained HIIT instructor, a yoga and movement specialist for women—from pregnancy through menopause—as well as a breathwork coach, entrepreneur, and author. Since 2013, she has been teaching private and group classes in the U.S., Singapore, Germany, and the Netherlands.
Her training took her to some of the world’s most renowned breathwork masters: She studied under Wim Hof, the world record holder and “Iceman,” SOMA founder Niraj Naik, and biohacker Kasper van der Meulen. As a Hatha yoga teacher, she was trained by the renowned American teacher Marianne Wells, and she completed her training as a prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher with Michelle Papa in Singapore.
What makes Johanna’s work special is that she combines scientifically grounded breathing techniques with music, storytelling, and visualizations to create a multisensory experience—so that breathwork is not just understood intellectually, but experienced deeply within the body. Her knowledge of hormonal changes, the menstrual cycle, and life stages is just as much a part of her work as her expertise in movement and functional fitness.
Before joining Tiger & Turtle, she spent over ten years in international management roles—from China to Singapore and Silicon Valley and back to the Netherlands—working for organizations including the European Commission and RocketSpace. This experience, combined with her passion for inner work, informs each of her sessions.
Johanna is the author of the book *Breathwork – The Magic of Your Breath*, the founder of Tiger & Turtle, and lives near Amsterdam with her husband and two children.
