Mindfulness Yoga Retreats with Doris Iding

Through simple mindfulness exercises, relaxing meditations, and soothing yoga sequences, we’ll learn during these mindfulness days to center ourselves and become more aware of who we are and our automatic behavior patterns.
3 nights,
From 1,455 to 2,079 euros per person

Through short but highly effective exercises, we develop a greater zest for life, serenity, and inner peace. The results of various studies are so compelling that even conventional medicine can no longer ignore mindfulness, meditation, and yoga as keys to health and happiness . These techniques are now even regarded as valuable methods, particularly for preventing stress and its consequences, such as depression and burnout. And who doesn’t feel stressed these days?! We can all learn the art of staying calm and composed under pressure through mindfulness, meditation, and yoga .

For mindfulness to be fully effective, it’s not only important to become aware of who and what drains or gives you energy, but it’s also necessary to change unconscious attitudes. We’ll initiate these changes together during the mindfulness retreat. We’ll identify stress-inducing habits and replace them with empowering exercises. In the process, we’ll also recognize unconscious beliefs and free ourselves from them. We’ll practice replacing the “If…then…” mindset (“If I have time, then I’ll meditate, do yoga, etc.”) with the “If not now, then when?” mindset.

There are many small exercises that you’ll take home with you at the end of the retreat. These will help strengthen you in your daily life and enable you to deal more calmly and relaxed with the increasing stresses and challenges of everyday life.

Doris Iding is an ethnologist and a mindfulness, meditation, and yoga teacher. She lives and works in Munich as an author, seminar leader, and coach in the areas of spirituality, health, and the development of self-efficacy.

Day 1: Lecture, Mindfulness Yoga, and Meditation: 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Doris Iding explains the basics of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga practice. This is followed by a yoga sequence in which we practice openly and mindfully. The focus here is on relaxed practice without any pressure to perform. Afterward, we’ll do a mindfulness meditation. While sitting or lying down, we’ll observe the different parts of the body with non-judgmental awareness. This exercise is also one of the most effective for alleviating physical pain and emotional distress. No prior knowledge or meditation experience is required. At the end, there will be time set aside for questions and sharing experiences.

Days 2 and 3: Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness Practice: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
We start the day with a refreshing yoga practice. The focus is on gently waking up the body and practicing mindfulness in each asana. Following the yoga session, we’ll do a mindfulness meditation. It helps us connect with our body and mind in a simple way, bringing us into the here and now.

This class is suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. No prior knowledge of yoga or meditation experience is required.

Days 2 and 3: Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation (Body Scan): 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Gentle Yin Yoga in the evening, suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners. The session is followed by a meditation. This mindfulness meditation, performed while sitting or lying down, is one of the classic exercises in mindfulness practice. We take a journey through the body, mindfully and non-judgmentally observing its individual regions. This exercise is also among the most effective for alleviating physical discomfort and emotional distress. No prior knowledge or meditation experience is required.

Day 4: Yoga, Meditation & Mindfulness Practice: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
We’ll wrap up the retreat by combining the participants’ favorite meditations and yoga poses into a sequence so that everyone can continue practicing at home.

Private lessons can also be booked during this time.
