As part of your vacation with us, we offer a comprehensive internal medicine, cardiology, and sports medicine checkup with detailed diagnostics—all under one roof.

And all this in just 2 appointments.
To undergo this check-up at home would require at least 4 appointments with 4 different doctors. Given the wait times and staff shortages in our current healthcare system, this would be extremely time-consuming. At our medical practice, the following services can be combined into 2 appointments:

The test package includes: 

- Initial Evaluation with skin cancer screening, if necessary
- subsequent Blood draw (Standard parameters, including vitamin D)
- Ergometry with lactate performance testing To optimize fitness levels and rule out changes in the coronary arteries
- Lung function
- Comprehensive ultrasound diagnosis: Thyroid Ultrasound (Prevention of knot formation, enlargement), Abdominal Ultrasound (for the early detection of organ changes and organ damage), Echocardiogram (Detection of heart valve defects, heart failure, and congenital or acquired heart diseases), Doppler examination of the blood vessels supplying the brain for identifying stroke risks
- A detailed discussion of the findings and the provision of a folder containing the findings

 

The advantage is that each patient is given a sufficient amount of time. Each patient is treated on a highly individualized basis. And follow-up care via email or phone is also guaranteed.

Dr. Gabriele Kappeler

- University education at the University of Münster
- Graduation with a medical license and a Ph.D. in medicine (Dr. med.)
- Clinical training at the Dortmund Municipal Hospitals, a tertiary care facility
- Completed residency training there in internal medicine and cardiology
- Has been in private practice for over 20 years, specializing in ultrasound diagnostics, cardiology, and preventive medicine, as well as sports medicine performance diagnostics and preventive check-ups for executives

 

Dr. Franz Laqua

- University education at Heidelberg University
- Graduation with a medical license and a Ph.D. in medicine (Dr. med.)
- Clinical work at Sonthofen Hospital (focus on surgery and emergency medicine, including interdisciplinary services); additional clinical work at Oberstaufen Clinic (a teaching hospital affiliated with the Universities of Munich), with a focus on oncology; training in internal medicine diagnostics there
- Board-certified specialist in general medicine and sports medicine, naturopathy
- Has been in private practice for over 30 years, specializing in ultrasound diagnostics, sports medicine performance testing, preventive medicine, and preventive health checkups for executives
