Christmas Wishes

Dear Frau Holle, dear Christ Child,

Today I have a very special request. I figured I'd write to both of you at once—better safe than sorry.

IT'S ABOUT TIME IT STARTED SNOWING

We've now finished preparing all the snowshoes, and we've gotten some extra-large ones of these Latschen models for the heavier guys among our guests (up to 110 kg).

The sleds are ready. Flags flutter along the cross-country ski trail—Bavarian white and blue, red and white stripes, and one bearing the Swiss cross

It's been freezing cold for days, and the snow cannons are firing nonstop.

But that's not what we want—we want a scenic backdrop, snow-capped mountains, and fir trees! And we want it now!

Or you could wonder whether the Baby Jesus might be born again after more than 2,000 years—but this time two or three weeks later. Because there’s always snow then. I’d give that some thought.
