Our Outdoor Activity Program

Let's head out into nature!

Mountain Forest Field Trip with the District Foresters

Mountain forest excursion with District Forester Andreas Fisel and Toni Specht from the Bavarian Forestry Administration.

A healthy mountain forest is vital—even essential—for mountain regions. It protects the valley from avalanches, rockfalls, and mudslides. Join us on a stroll through the area above Balderschwang. With expert guidance, we’ll learn what sustainable forest management looks like in the face of climate change.

The hike takes about 3 hours. Since we’ll be walking on steep terrain along hunting trails in some sections, sturdy hiking boots with good traction are required. We recommend wearing long hiking pants.

Ice Bathing with Martin Steurer

The Fascination of Cold

Proper breathing and cold baths support and strengthen your immune system. Join Martin Steurer in the cold and push your limits. By breathing properly, you support our body’s amazing ability.

Martin Steurer uses the Wim Hof Method for breathwork and cold training. Experience the fascination of this method in our natural swimming lake. Recharge your batteries for happiness. Take a dip in the cold water. For more joy in life, fitness, and contentment.

We cordially invite you to step outside your comfort zone and discover and experience new possibilities. Our natural swimming lake offers the ideal setting for this experience. Let us surprise you. Martin Steurer will guide you through the experience.

Meet in the SeeBlick room wearing casual athletic clothing; feel free to dress in layers.

Dates: From November through March.
