For many years, our center’s motto has been “A Passion for Life”—in a holistic, comprehensive, and sustainable way. To infuse the many facets of life with love, connection, mindfulness, and awareness, we have developed numerous in-depth retreats over the years.
Women are the primary participants in these programs. But since, fortunately, things are changing, we’re seeing that more and more men are also breaking away from the traditional “routine.” They sense that the longing for a genuine break, for grounding oneself in nature, and for turning inward is not a matter of gender.
Many men have learned to go their own way. They shoulder a great deal of responsibility in their daily lives, make tough decisions, and often perform with absolute reliability year after year. Yet behind this facade of strength and self-assurance, there is often a quiet longing: for a place where one can simply be oneself, without having to perform, prove anything, or achieve anything.
For many men, booking a retreat may require a little courage at first, precisely because yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation are often still perceived as predominantly feminine pursuits. But that’s exactly what we want to change. Our retreats aren’t just “women’s groups”—they’re open, safe spaces for people who want to find themselves.

When men dare to immerse themselves in our HUBERTUS program, they discover something deeply nourishing: True strength does not lie in shouldering everything alone, but in facing oneself with an open heart. Becoming aware of one’s own thoughts and needs, feeling one’s breath, and drawing new strength from connecting with like-minded people. From the courage to set aside the burdens of everyday life for a few days, a whole new form of inner freedom and vitality often emerges.
Guided by our experienced coaches and facilitators, and inspired by the powerful natural beauty of the Allgäu Alps, each of our retreats is an invitation to yourself—whether you’re a man or a woman—to simply be there for yourself.
For us, mindfulness means approaching ourselves with an open heart. It means being aware of our own thoughts, feelings, and needs without immediately judging or trying to change them. When we connect with like-minded people, we experience that we are not alone. A sense of separation can give way to a sense of connection. Shame can turn into compassion. And the courage to show our vulnerability often gives rise to a whole new, quiet form of true strength.
Through insightful conversations, healing rituals, meditation, and empowering encounters, our experienced coaches and facilitators guide participants on their journey toward greater vitality, self-confidence, and inner freedom. With a strong sense of presence, mindfulness, and empathy, they create a space where every man can open up and grow at his own pace.
The nature and mountains surrounding HUBERTUS support this process in a completely natural way. They teach us humility and trust. They invite us to slow down, feel our breath, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Our programs for men are a warm invitation to set aside, if only for a moment, the burden of being alone and just “getting by.” They are proof that true strength does not lie in carrying everything on your own, but in allowing yourself to be touched—by yourself, by others, and by life.
LET OUR RETREATS INSPIRE YOU!
