Ski-in, ski-out: The entrance to the groomed trails is right in front of our hotel. With difficulty levels to suit every need. And depending on your preference, the cross-country ski tours can be shortened, extended, or varied at many points. This ensures plenty of variety and challenge. All route descriptions are clearly marked on the numerous information boards along the trails.
If you are unable to bring your own cross-country skiing equipment with you on your winter vacation in the Allgäu, you can rent it at one of the sports shops in Balderschwang.
HUBERTUS also offers intensive cross-country skiing training upon request, both in groups and as one-on-one sessions. This allows you to quickly and effectively learn the necessary basic techniques or improve your skills.

The cross-country ski trail, with a cross-country skiing center right in town, is suitable for all skill levels. This is where the first DSV Nordic Center was established . The cross-border trail stretches over 80 km, right in the heart of the great outdoors. In winter, this is the ideal Bavarian winter sports destination for the perfect active vacation in the Allgäu Alps. The groomed trails are free for cross-country skiing with the “Allgäuer WalserCard” guest card. The varied trail is one of the most beautiful in Bavaria. Here, you can choose the difficulty level of the trail yourself. The Riedberg Pass Trail is an easy loop of about 4.2 km. There are also intermediate and difficult trails, such as the Scheuen Trail (7.8 km) or the Grenzland Trail (30 km). This is cross-country skiing in paradise!
