The nine day Jazz festival in Kempten is one of the most important cultural events in the Allgäu. From the end of April until the start of May, Kempten is transformed each year into an internationally treasured Jazz metropolis. Outstanding bands and soloists play in numerous venues all day long in the Oberallgäu. As well as the large old grain exchange (Kornhaus), there are also the pubs, shops, banks and squares, where you will experience a superlative atmopshere. You can also go to the jazz concerts in the church.

In the 23 years of its existence the Kempten Jazz Spring festival has developed from a small regional event into one of the largest festivals in Germany.
